Uptown Talkies brings back the feeling of the neighbourhood picture house — the kind where you knew the person at the ticket window and stayed back to talk about the ending. Every screening is chosen by hand: classics, cult favourites, world cinema and the occasional surprise.
We screen inside Mazuri Cafe & Restaurant in Banjara Hills, so dinner and a good cup of chai are never far away. Come solo or bring a friend — everyone leaves knowing someone new.
